Managed Hosting and Support

Reliable, well-supported hosting can make a huge difference to a charity’s digital presence. Yet many organisations struggle to find hosting providers who understand the sector and can offer responsive, knowledgeable support when things go wrong. Unlike our grants programme, this offer is open to charities of all sizes.

To help address this, I have asked Fat Beehive to provide one charity with a full year of managed hosting completely free of charge (worth £2,400 for smaller charities and £3,900+ for larger organisations), along with 50% off managed hosting for a year for four additional charities.

Managed hosting includes secure, reliable infrastructure and access to a dedicated Fat Beehive Account Manager who understands the realities of running a charity. Your Account Manager becomes your primary point of contact — answering questions, coordinating support requests, managing updates, and helping to ensure your website continues to support your organisation’s goals. In many ways, they become an extension of your team.

Behind the scenes, your website will run on enterprise-grade managed WordPress hosting powered by WP Engine and Google Cloud, delivering excellent performance, reliability and security. The platform includes a managed Web Application Firewall, DDoS protection, real-time threat monitoring and automated WordPress updates to help keep your site secure and stable.

You will also have unlimited access to Fat Beehive’s technical support team for bug fixes, security updates and proactive monitoring. Fat Beehive is Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 certified, while its hosting partners maintain internationally recognised security standards, providing a level of protection and resilience that many charities would otherwise struggle to access.

There is no requirement to rebuild your website. Existing WordPress websites can usually be migrated with minimal disruption, allowing charities to benefit from improved hosting and support without the cost and complexity of a redevelopment project.

If your charity could benefit from improved hosting, stronger security and expert support, please apply below or email me directly and we can arrange a conversation.

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2026.
