We support UK-based charities with an annual turnover of under £1 million, offering funding for a wide range of digital projects. Whether that’s building a new website, developing online resources, or improving digital accessibility, our aim is to help you reach more people, raise more funds and deliver more impact.
We know how important it is for small charities to have a strong, user-friendly digital presence – but we also know how hard that can be to fund. Our grants are here to help bridge that gap.
We award funding twice a year, and you can find all the key dates and information on our Apply page.
If you’re unsure whether your project is eligible, feel free to get in touch before applying.

Priorities for support
We can only support a limited number of projects based on the funding available for distribution in any given year. The Trustees are particularly keen to support traditionally hard-to-fund organisations, such as those supporting prisoners, refugees, or disadvantaged youth.
What we don’t fund
Our grants are designed to support specific digital projects — not general IT needs. To help us focus our impact, there are a few things we don’t fund:
- General software or hardware procurement – such as laptops, servers or licences not tied to a digital project
- Organisations without the capacity to deliver – we want our funding to have a meaningful impact, so we prioritise charities with the internal resources to see a digital project through
- Core costs or staff salaries – we recognise their importance, but our focus is on hard-to-fund digital spend that other funders often won’t cover
- Charities working with Fat Beehive Ltd – to avoid conflicts of interest, we don’t fund organisations that currently use or intend to use Fat Beehive Ltd’s services
- Organisations set up to promote religion
